This site is intended as a space to coordinate the content and approaches to teaching of English 240–Introduction to Literary Study and Critical Methods.  As the gateway course to the major, English 240 sets the tone for a student’s future studies in the discipline.  The course can also be seen as a venue for exploring what it means to take part in English studies as an academic focus in the 21st Century.  We hope this site will prove useful as a venue for sharing, discussion, and debate.
